Yuki: ごめん．昨日のこと気にしている。。。かな。やっぱり。

Yuki: Sorry. You are worrying about yesterday’s thing….probably. As I thought.

 

Tohru：あ。。。わかってたクセに変なことばかり言って。。。ごめん。

Tohru: A…I said only weird things…Sorry.

 

Yuki: でもキスをしたことはあやまらないから悪いことをしただなんて思ってないから。その代わり忘れてしまっていいから。

Yuki: But, because I will not apologize for that kiss, because I do not think I did a bad thing. In place of that, it is good to forget it.

 

 

Tohru: そん。。。そんな忘れるなんて。。。変だなんて。。。っ。由貴君にとってきっととても。。とても大切な事たったのでしょう。。。？大切な事をおっしゃったのでしょう。。。？

Tohru: That….That forgetting…Is weird…The thing that Yuki did is really….it’s probably a really important thing…? Didn’t you say that it’s a an important thing?

 

（けれども小さくて。。。その声は小さくて。。。小さくて。。。聴こえない。。。どれほど耳をすませても聴こえない。本当の声。)

 

(However, the small…that voice is small and….small and…I can’t hear it. How much has to finish and I can’t hear it. The real voice.

 

Yuki: 本当のことは言っていい時と悪い時があるだろ？だから。。。いずれ。。。ね。。。とりあえず今俺に言えることは元気だから大丈夫だよ。。。ってこと。

Yuki:  When I tell you the real thing at a good time isn’t there a bad time? Therefore…Anyway…For now you are able to tell me that you are okay so it’s okay…

 

Tohru: 。。。ははい！！わ　わ　わかりました！！！

Tohru:….Ye…Yes! I –un-understand!!!

 

（ほっ翻弄されてしまった。。。ような。。。っ。しかも何やら突然たくましくなられような。。。っ

(I –I was made fun of….like that…Moreover, what became this sturdy abruptly….

Tohru: 。。。なあ

Tohru: …Look

 

Kyo: それ。。。なんだ？

Kyo: That…What is it?

 

 

 

Tohru: 砂のお城ですよ！！

Tohru: It’s a sand castle!!!

 

Kyo: 俺には砂の山に見える。。。

Kyo: A sand mountain is visible to me…

 

Tohru: あっ　あれ！？そっ　そうですか！？

Tohru: A…huh!? Is…Is that so!?

 

Kyo: まあ実際作ったことねえからわかんねえけど。。。なんか前TVかなんかで見た時はもっと城の形してた気がする。

Kyo: Huh..I’ve practically never made one before but…before what I saw on TV gave more of a feeling of a castle shape.

 

Tohru: 初めてなのですか！？でっでは私が先輩なのですね！？

Tohru: Is this your first one!? Th-Then I am your senpai, right!?

(Momiji runs in)

 

Momiji: ただいま。ただいま。ただいま。ただいまーっ

Momiji: I’m home. I’m home. I’m home. I’m home!!!

 

Kyo:…紅葉おまえなあ

Kyo: You are the color of autumn leaves..

 

(Kisa and Hiro walk in)

 

Tohru: おかえりなさいですーっ

Tohru:  Welcome home!

 

Kisa: ただいまっーっ。ただいま。。。っ

Kisa: I’m home…I’m home.

 

Hiro: 何こんなトクでショボイ遊びしてるもさ。。。

Hiro: With a talk like this you are playing a shabby game…

 

 

 

 

(Scene shifts to Yuki and Hatsuharu talking)

 

Yuki: 今日は疲れただろ。。。春

Yuki: You must be tired today…haru.

 

Haru: いや。。。由貴こそ大丈夫．．．？

Haru: No…Is yuki okay?

 

Yuki: 。。。俺本当に心配ばかりかけさせてなんだな。。。

Yuki:… I really only make others worry…

 

(Scene shifts briefly to Kyo, Tohru, Momiji, Hiro, and Kisa)

 

Kyo: でも大丈夫だよ．今度こそ

Kyo: But it’s okay, you know. This time.

 

(Yuki and Haru look over at Kyo, Tohru, Momiji, Hiro, and Kisa)

 

Haru:巣立ち？

Haru: Leaving the nest?

 

Yuki: ははは。。。っ。まったく春は。。。わかって言ってるんだか。そうじゃないんだか。。。ははは。

Yuki: Ha ha ha…Truly Haru…That thing that you said and understood. Truly it isn’t…hahaha.

 

Haru: 。。。うんそーいうのは好き。

Haru:…Uh…I really like that thing.

 

Yuki: 何が？

Yuki What?

 

Haru: 。。。なんでもない。

Haru: Never mind.

 

Tohru: あ。。。あの。。。おっ　お帰りなさい。。。

Tohru: A…Um..Wel-Welcome home…

 

Yuki: ただいま。ずっとここで遊んでたの？

Yuki: I’m home. Continuously here you stayed?

 

Tohru: はっ　はいっ．夾君と砂のお城を作っていて。。。

Tohru: Ye-yes. With Kyo, we were building a sand castle…

 

Yuki: ああ。。。砂の城。俺はてっきり砂の山かと

Yuki: Ah…A sand castle. That is surely a sand mountain.

 

Tohru: あああ！！や　やはり由貴君にもそう見えるのですか。。。！？

Tohru: Aaah!!! As-As I thought that’s what it looks like to Yuki also!?

すみません！

先週、本当に忙しかったし、忘れてしまいました！

Kyo: 大丈夫かよ。マジで具合悪いのか？

 

Kyo: Are you okay? Are you in a bad condition?

 

 

Tohru: へ？！いいいえただ少し考え事を。。。（いけません。。。っ夾君にまでご心配かけてしまいます！！）夾君これから海にいったりしませんか？あのな。。。平気です。泳ぐのではなけて。。。砂遊びをしましょう！！

Tohru: Huh? No no no. I’m just thinking a little bit… (I must not do it…I made Kyo-kun worry!!!) Kyo-kun, from here shall we do such things as go to the beach? Um…I am calm. You do not have to swim…Let’s (make a sandcastle?)

 

 

 

(Scene shifts to Shigure and Yuki)

 

Shigure: それは。。。楽しいか？きっと楽しいですよっ。おやゆき君てっきりあきとさんと一緒にかと。

 

Shigure: That is…fun? It most certainly looks like it. Oh should you not be with Akito?

 

Yuki: 。。。今日は春にベッタリ。

 

Yuki:…Today he is with Haru. (ベッタリ？)

 

Shigure: なるほど。僕らは暇だねえ。。。帰らせてくれたらいいのに。。。ゆき君。昨日あきとさんに何をいわれたの？

 

Shigure: I see. I am also free…I would be good if he let us return…Yuki-kun, Yesterday what did Akito say to you?

 

Yuki: 本当のこと。。。満足だろ？

Akito: だっておかしいんだもの。きみは笑い者。。。なんだよそんなだから。あれ。。。？傷ついた？傷ついちゃった．．．？

Narration (Tohru): そんなのです。今日も皆さんはあきとさんのとろろへでかけていらして夾君と２人でお留守番をしているのです。けれど、こんな。。。。はとりさんがお謝りになることは一つもありませんのに。。。

 

Narration: That’s right. Today is also the day when everybody went to Akito’s place, so with Kyo as two people, we have been taking care of the house. But this…Even though there is not one thing for Hatori-san to apologize for…

 

Tohru: あ。。。つ

 

Tohru: A…uh..

 

Narration (Tohru): もしや。。。お留守番の夾君と私を心配．．．してくださっているのです．．．か？もしや。．．皆さんも。。。？けれど。。。こんな事を思うのはただのおもい上がりでしょうか。。。嬉しい。。。

 

Narration: Perhaps…He is worried about Kyo and I taking care of the house? Everyone else too? But…Will a thing like this that I am only thinking rise up? I am happy….

 

Tohru: うれしいです。。。つ。ありがとうございます。私。。。私は本当に果報者です。。。本当に嬉しいです。。。ですから大丈夫なのですよ！

 

Tohru: I am happy…uh. Thank you very much. I…I am really a lucky person. I am really happy. Therefore, it is okay!

 

Hatori: 今日はこれで。あ。。。夾。一人にさせるなよ。

 

Hatori: This day… A…Kyo, don’t make her be alone.

 

Tohru: 私は結局あきとさんにご挨拶できないまま。。。なのでしょうか。できるのでしょうか。。。これはやはり。。。あきとさん次第。。。なのですね。。。あきとさん。。。一体なにを。。。あきとさんは由貴君に

 

Tohru: After all, I still can not greet Akito-san. Shall I no it? I can probably do it… Of course this…As soon as Akito…That thing, right. Akito. What on earth…To Yuki-kun…

今週はちょっと短い。。。

でも、もう一度まんがをかわるかもしれません。というのは、このまながのほうが前のよりやさしいのに、まだちょっとむずかしすぎます。。。

 

女の人：さあ．．．確かに珍しいことだけど。。。秘書じゃない？なんでもしぐれさんがさそったとか。。。

 

Woman: I really do not know. It certainly is a rare act but…Is it not the secretary? Anything I wonder if he Shigure invited him…

 

神楽：つ。。。。。しーちゃん。。。つ。しーちゃんのくそったれえ！！！

 

Kagura: Huh..Shi-chan? Shi-chan’s BASTARD (?)!!!

 

女の人：神楽あなた先月も扉を破壊したの覚えてる？

 

Woman: Kagura, do you remember that you broke the door last month too?

 

(Scene switches to boy and girl, who just kissed)

Narration (From Tohru): まけない。進んでいく前へ信じていけるきっと．．．それ以上．由貴君は何もおっしゃらなくて一緒に別荘へ帰って。帰られていた皆さんとパンケーキを

食べました。皆さん楽しそうにされていて由貴君も笑っていて。けれどわたしは。。。馳せていました。パラパラと言葉の代わりに降った小さな声に耳をすませて。。。

 

Narration: I don’t lose. I voluntarily believe before myself and…That and more. Yuki-Kun did not say anything more and together we returned to the holiday house together. With everyone who was able to return, we ate pancakes. Everyone seemed to have so much fun and Yuki was also laughing. But I… (was doing….).  I listened to the small voice of the falling of the drops instead of words.

 

羽鳥：本田君？

 

Hatori: Honda-Kun?

 

と売る：え。。え？？？はっ　はとりさ。。。え？

 

Tohru: Huh…Huh??? Ha-Hatori-Sa…Huh?

 

羽鳥：どうした頭が痛むのか？

 

Hatori: In what way does your head hurt?

 

と売る：あっ　いえ．違うです。今のは　えと。。そのととと。。言いますか羽鳥さんは何故こちらにとても突然？

 

Tohru: A-No. That’s wrong. Now is….Um…That…which I said…Why is Hatori-San here so suddenly?

 

羽鳥：昨日あきとと来ていたんだが。。。色々あって挨拶が遅れた

 

Hatori: Yesterday, I came over wth Akito but…for various things my greetings were late.

 

と売る：あ。。。っそれでわざわざ。。。っ、羽鳥さんはお元気で。。。

 

Tohru: A…You went to the trouble to…Is Hatori doing well..

 

羽鳥：すまない。折角みんなで遊びに来たのだろうに一人にしてしまっている

 

Hatori:  (Sumanai?) With trouble, you went to have fun with everyone and I alone do this…

 

と売る：そんなあのっおあやまりにならないで下さい。。。夾君が一緒に居て下さいますしそれは一人ではないという訳でこうして家事も実にたのしいですし。。。

 

Tohru: Um. Please do not apologize…Kyo-Kun was here with me so I was not alone. The reason is that I did household chores… 

今の方が前よりいいと思います

私はまんがを変えました。新しいまんがはフルバえです。ナナをやくしていた時DenshiJishoを使いすぎてたくさん難しい文法と単語がありました。今週のほうがやしいと思いますけど、まだ

かまがい先生にうかがったほうがいいかもしれません。。。

神楽：依鈴？またどこか出かけるの？たまには一緒に。。。あっそうだ！別そうに行かない？！今みんなそっちにいるんだって！！ゆんちゃんでしょ。シーちゃんでしょ．春ちゃん。。。なんといつでも夾君がいるんだよ！？

 

Kagura: Isuzu? Where are you going again? Occasionally together…Oh right! Shall we go somewhere in particular? Now, everybody is there! Probably Yun chan. Probably Shi chan. Haru chan…Anytime Kyo kun is there!

 

依鈴:神楽。つじつま合わせの恋はもうやめたら。みててイタい

 

Isuzu: Kagura. If you already quit the love that you consistently place (force?). To watch is painful…

 

神楽：どうして。。。そういうこと言うの。。。？

 

Kagura: Why…That sort of thing that you say…?

 

依鈴:だってホントのことだろ。ホントのことだとしても。。。

 

Isuzu: Still it is a real thing probably. Even though it is a real thing…

 

神楽：依鈴っ！ 依鈴ったら！

 

Kagura: Isuzu！Isuzu!

 

女の人：なあに？またケイカ？引きとってもうずいぶんたつけど。。。ちょっともうがちに慣れないわねえ．最近更に頑なに感じだし。。。「みててイタイ」あ。。。そうそうさっき別そうとか言っていたような気がしたけど。。。やめておきなさいね。御当主も昨日そちらに向かったそうだから．

 

Woman (Kagura’s mother?): What? Again FIGHT? We take her over but…She does not get used to our house huh…Furthermore, recently she has an obstinate feeling… [To watch is painful] Oh…hmm You had an intention that was like a particular thing that you said but…Prepare to quit. I hear that 御当主 yesterday also went to the other side.

 

神楽：え。。。え？！

 

Kagura: Huh….HUH?!

 

女の人：わざわざ不興を買いに行く事かありませんからね。ここだけの話あなたまで大怪我したりしたら．．．ママたおれちゃう。

 

Woman:  Because going this way is going to buy displeasure. The story of only here and between you and me will do serious injury.(Mama?) will fall senseless.

神楽：あ。。。あのちょっとまってあきとさんが？別そうって何しに！？

Kagura: A…Um Wait a second but Akito? For what particularly?!

Narration: 出会いなんか望めないと落胆して入った女子高で美術の岡本先生（２５）に一目惚れしました。べつに美術は得意ではなかったけれど、同じクラスで仲良しになった淳ちゃんと美術部に入る事に決めました。

 

Narration: Though I did not wish for a thing such as a meeting, I, a dejected and recently enrolled high school girl, was taken at first sight by the arts teacher, Okamoto sensei (25 years old?). Art was not particularly my strong point, but I decided to enter in the same class as Jun chan, who became my best friend.

 

(Zooms to a classroom scene briefly)

 

淳：あたしはもともと得意なのよ

Jun: From the start, art is my strong point….

 

 

岡本先生は奈々に：上手に描けたね。

Okamoto Sensei: You drew beautifully, huh…

 

奈々：へえ

Nana: Ah…

 

(Ends classroom scene)

Narration: おかげで絵を描くの葉大好きになったけどいれといった進展もないまま１年後彼は別の高校へ去っていきました。

 

Nana: Thanks to him, I came to love drawing but (いれといった) when there was no development, he left to go to another high school after one year.

 

奈々：先生。。。同じ髪型目指して前髪のばしてたのに。。。

Nana: Sensei…Even though our same hairdos have bangs…

 

(Zooms to a scene with Nana and Jun)

 

奈々：やっぱり告白すればよかったんだ．コくらなきゃ何も始まらない．次は必ず！

Narration: 次の出会いはすぐにやって来ました。

Narration: The next encounter shortly came.

 

Library Man: ご返却は？

Library Man: The return?

 

奈々：明日！

Narration: 家の近所にオープンしたレンタルビデオ屋の店の店員おしゃれな中村さんです。（すいてい２３）私は彼会いたさに毎日ビデオ屋に通いつめ。おかげで映画が大好きになったけど．ある日思いきってはなしかけたら冷たくあたしらわれてしまいました。

Narration: In the neighborhood of my house, the man of the shop of the opened video rental store was named nakamura. (Probably 23 years old) For the meetings, I would pass through everyday to the video store. Thanks to him, I came to love movies. One day daringly when I came forth, I was coldly rejected.

 

 

奈々：あの！彼女にしてください！

Nana: Um…Make me your girlfriend!

 

Library Man: お客様、困ります。

Library Man: Um, guest, it’s trouble.

 

奈々（自分で）：ご返却は？

Nana: The return, you mean?

 

(Scene shifts to Jun and Nana)

 

奈々：いきなりあんな事言ったのがいけなかったんだ．次はもっと慎重に！

Nana: Without warning, that thing that he said was wrong. Next time, I will be more cautious!

 

淳：いやー．慎重にせめてもダメなもんはダメだよ。

Jun: No-Something that is not at least cautious is bad.
